At the end of this presentation, participants should be able to:
Review prevalence of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and neuropsychological profiles in Fragile X syndrome
Evaluate literature on ASD x neuropsychological profiles in children with genetic syndromes with elevated likelihood of ASD and brain tumors (i.e., neurofibromatosis type 1, tuberous sclerosis complex)
Appraise psychosocial impact and value of targeted assessment and intervention in these syndromes

Erin Hunt is a clinical-community psychology doctoral student in the Department of Psychology at the University of South Carolina. She is currently completing her predoctoral internship in neuropsychology at Phoenix Children’s. Erin’s research interests include executive functioning profiles and trajectories in individuals with genetic and neurodevelopmental disorders, as well as the impact of parent influences on executive functioning development. She plans to pursue a postdoctoral fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology.
