Sofya Norman, MD, is a PGY-3 neurosurgery resident at the Barrow Neurological Institute at Phoenix Children's. She received her undergraduate degree in molecular biology from the University of Denver and her medical degree from Weill Cornell Medicine, where her research involved magnetogenetic gene therapy for treatment of pain. She began her neurosurgical training in 2023. Her current clinical and research interests include intrinsic brain tumors and skullbase tumors.
