Laura Winstone-Weide, PhD
Neuropsychologist | Barrow Neurological Institute at Phoenix Children’s
Laura Winstone-Weide, PhD, is pediatric neuropsychologist and early childhood specialist at Phoenix Children's. Dr. Winstone-Weide's clinical interests include bilingual neuropsychological assessments.
Dr. Winstone-Weide graduated with a bachelor's degree from Emory University in Atlanta before earning her master's and doctoral degrees in clinical psychology from Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona. She completed a fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology at the University of Texas in Austin, Texas.
In addition to her clinical role at Phoenix Children's, Dr. Winstone-Weide is an assistant professor in the Department of Child Health at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Phoenix. She is a member of the Hispanic Neuropsychological Society, the American Academy of Pediatric Neuropsychology, the International Neuropsychological Society and the Society for Research in Child Development, among others.
Dr. Winstone-Weide has published peer-reviewed research in journals such as Mental Health and Prevention, Developmental Psychology, American Psychologist and Journal of Psychopathology and Clinical Science. She also has presented research and continuing education modules for a number of professional societies, including the American Academy of Clinical Neuropsychology.
In her free time, Dr. Winstone-Weide enjoys hiking, camping and playing soccer in a local community league.
