About the presenters:

Sarah Esposito, MD
Neurosurgery Resident - PGY3
Mayo Clinic, Arizona

Sarah Esposito is a current PGY-3 in neurological surgery at Mayo Clinic in Arizona, but grew up in Connecticut before moving to Florida for 10 years. She completed her medical school training at St. George’s University and her dual undergraduate degrees in psychology and neuroscience at Florida Atlantic University. She became interested in neurosciences after working in neurological rehabilitation for 5 years. Fascinated by the nervous system, she attended medical school and decided on neurosurgery after seeing her first craniotomy. She plans to specialize in spine, with an interest in biomechanics, spine oncology, and the evolving field of spino-plastics.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her dog and cat, weight-lifting and participating in yoga, and unwinds with mindless television.
