Dr. Sanjay Shah did his medical education and pediatric residency in Bombay University, India. After arriving in the USA, he finished pediatric residency at Henry Ford Hospital followed by a fellowship in pediatric hematology/oncology at Wayne State University/Children’s Hospital of Michigan. He joined Phoenix Children’s in May 2009 and currently serves as section chief of pediatric hematology and director of sickle cell and hemoglobinopathy program. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, spending time in nature, listening to audiobooks and spending time with his family.
