Dr. Carrie Schaefer is a Pediatric Interventional Radiologist at Phoenix Children’s and has been practicing as an interventionalist for 16 years. Her focus includes treatment of vascular malformations, venous access and lymphatic interventions. Additionally, she has contributed to the evolution of the Enteral Care Program at Phoenix Children’s.

Dr. Schaefer graduated from Michigan State University and received her medical degree from the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. She completed her diagnostic radiology residency at Michigan State University/Grand Rapids Area Medical Education Center and her pediatric radiology fellowship at Texas Children’s Hospital/Baylor College of Medicine.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Schaefer enjoys time with family, cooking and traveling.
