Dr. Traube is a Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Pediatric Critical Care at Weill Cornell Medicine and holds the Gerald M. Loughlin MD Endowed Professorship in the Department of Pediatrics. She is Chair of the Steering Committee for the Collaborative Pediatric Critical Care Research Network (CPCCRN), the clinical research arm for the NIH’s pediatric ICU research program. She leads a multidisciplinary team to spearhead clinical research on the effects of delirium and sedation on children and families, both during and after pediatric hospitalization. She is Principal Investigator for OPTICOM, a 16-site randomized controlled trial evaluating the effect of protocolized non-opioid analgesics on acute pain in children on invasive mechanical ventilation.

Dr. Traube is also a multi-R01-funded Principal Investigator with extensive expertise in designing, operationalizing, and disseminating clinical research in the complex pediatric critical care environment.
