The Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology Fellowship includes programs and conferences required as a prerequisite for graduation. These activities are designed to enhance the learning and experience and to assist the fellow in meeting the goals and objectives of the fellowship program.

Conferences

Fellows will attend The North American Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology Annual Clinical Research Meeting. Fellows are expected to submit an abstract for either a poster or an oral presentation.

Fellows will also attend the Excellence in Clinical Research Course which is a six day course on research methods.

Presentations and Projects

As part of the program, fellows are expected to conduct original research and submit at least one paper to an approved journal. An abstract submission to the North American Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology Annual Clinical Research Conference is required. A submission of an additional case report is also encouraged.

Scholarly Activities

The program expects each fellow to complete a research project based on some form of scholarly activity.
