Residency: Pediatrics, Advocate Children’s Hospital – Oak Lawn, IL (2023)
Fellowship: Phoenix Children’s

I am the current Pediatric Hospice and Palliative Medicine fellow at Phoenix Children’s Hospital. I was interested in training at PC largely due to high patient volume and team dynamics. The large census provides a robust experience and many learning opportunities and having newly moved to the Southwest, I have felt warmly welcomed and supported by the PC palliative team. My research interests include exploring how palliative language is understood and expressed by translators and how palliative care providers may better use culturally appropriate language with families. Outside of the hospital, I enjoy reading and cooking but as the weather starts to cool down, I am excited to explore surrounding cities and sites of the Southwest!
