Pediatric IR Fellow Goals
- Develop and perfect technical skills in vascular and nonvascular interventional radiology procedures.
- Develop and advance cognitive knowledge in IR and apply this knowledge appropriately.
- Critically evaluate appropriateness of IR procedures.
- Understand/verbalize benefits and risks of IR procedures in theoretical and encountered clinical situation.
- Correctly interprets diagnostic imaging as it pertains to IR.
- Effectively communicates with staff and colleagues, and acts in a professional and ethical manner.
- Effectively communicates with patients and their families and is respectful and compassionate.
- Participates in QC and QA.
