Pediatric IR Fellow Goals

  1. Develop and perfect technical skills in vascular and nonvascular interventional radiology procedures.
  2. Develop and advance cognitive knowledge in IR and apply this knowledge appropriately.
  3. Critically evaluate appropriateness of IR procedures.
  4. Understand/verbalize benefits and risks of IR procedures in theoretical and encountered clinical situation.
  5. Correctly interprets diagnostic imaging as it pertains to IR.
  6. Effectively communicates with staff and colleagues, and acts in a professional and ethical manner.
  7. Effectively communicates with patients and their families and is respectful and compassionate.
  8. Participates in QC and QA.
  9. Demonstrates responsibility regarding attendance, work assignments, and dictating procedures in an accurate and timely manner.
  10. Participates in teaching both as an active learner and teacher.
  11. Attends conferences as assigned.
