The fellow will participate in the monthly neurocritical care education series, monthly pediatric stroke conferences, weekly neuroscience grand rounds, and relevant critical care morbidity and mortality conferences. The fellow may additionally attend weekly neurology and neurosurgical case conferences, educational neurocritical care lectures at Mayo Clinic Scottsdale and the advanced ICU nursing neuromonitoring course. The fellow will be supported to attend the Annual Neurocritical Care Society Meeting, the Wake Forest Neurovascular Ultrasound course (beginner) and the Wake Forest Neurovascular Ultrasound Interpretation course (advanced).
- Critical Care Track: candidates should have successfully completed a residency in pediatrics and fellowship in pediatric critical care and be board eligible/certified.
- Neurology Track: candidates should have successfully completed a residency in child neurology and be board-eligible/certified.
