Phoenix Children's offers ambulatory blood pressure monitoring for children. This program fits children with custom cuffs worn for 24 hours, allowing a comprehensive reading of blood pressure in all situations, including sleep.


The Audiology Program provides a full range of diagnostic services to children of all ages in both the outpatient and inpatient setting. Phoenix Children's uses a two audiologist approach for behavioral testing with children under the age of 5, and developmentally challenged children of all ages, to make sure the tests are as accurate as possible.

The Pediatric Dialysis Center at Phoenix Children's provides more than 90% of the pediatric hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis in the Southwest. The Center is also the only pediatric-dedicated program in Arizona.

The Electroneurodiagnostic Department at Phoenix Children's offers a variety of tests for the diagnosis of central and peripheral nervous system disorders.

Our electroneurodiagnostic staff are pediatric-trained to give the best care to children and families. Their expertise includes achieving high-quality testing without sedation, positioning and comforting infants and children before and during procedures, and explaining procedures so children will understand.

The Inpatient Pharmacy on Thomas Road is located on the first floor of the Hospital and provides service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

The Outpatient Pharmacy is located on the first floor of the Ambulatory Building across the hall from the Hematology/Oncology Department and provides services to the clinics from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday - Friday (except holidays).

The pediatric radiologists, nurses and technologists at Phoenix Children's are trained and experienced in procedures with children, resulting in faster and more accurate test results. The Radiology Department is completely filmless. Exams are burned to a CD and given to patients and physicians making it less cumbersome to view and transport images. Physicians are also able to view studies online.

As the only dedicated pediatric Rehabilitation Program in Arizona, we take referrals from in-state and out-of-state. The team involves several neuroscience disciplines as well as orthopedic surgery, child life and recreational therapy.

The Respiratory Care Services office is located on the first floor of the Hospital. Office hours are 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday - Friday (except holidays).

Respiratory care practitioners (RCPs) are licensed and credentialed and practice under the medical direction of a board certified pediatric intensivist. Dedicated primary respiratory care teams support care in the PICU, NICUs (both campuses), ED and Medical Surgical care areas. Services provided help diagnose, treat, manage and provide preventative care for patients with cardiopulmonary problems and are provided 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

All RCPs maintain certification in BLS and PALS. NICU primary team members also hold NRP certification.
