Phoenix Children’s Names Carmen Neuberger Executive Vice President; Jared Muenzer, MD, MBA Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Phoenix Children’s Medical Group

As Phoenix Children’s Hospital continues to grow in size and complexity, Phoenix Children’s is pleased to promote Carmen Neuberger to Executive Vice President and appoint Jared Muenzer, MD, MBA, as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Phoenix Children’s Medical Group (PCMG).

As Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Dr. Jared Muenzer will lead strategy development and implementation to improve PCMG practices and patient care. His initial focus will be on ambulatory operations, patient access, practice flow, staffing model improvements, productivity and synergy between clinical and financial drivers. Dr. Muenzer will also work closely with senior leadership, division chiefs and management to improve clinical practice efficiency and streamline access to care across the continuum.

In her role as Executive Vice President, Phoenix Children’s general counsel Carmen Neuberger will oversee Legal, Risk Management and Corporate Compliance departments. Carmen will also lead the hospital’s real estate acquisitions and leasehold interests as well as government relations. Since 2007, Carmen has successfully guided Phoenix Children’s through complex legal challenges and transactions.
