The 16th annual Give-A-Thon for Phoenix Children’s Hospital became the top fundraiser of its kind in the country by collecting more than $1.58 million in donations during a 19-hour radio simulcast on KTAR News (92.3 FM) and Arizona Sports (98.7 FM). This marks the seventh year in a row that Bonneville Media’s two stations have exceeded $1 million in donations.

Phoenix Children’s Center for Family Health and Safety has been awarded a grant by the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety (GOHS). The funds, which total more than $36,000, will support the distribution of car seats, booster seats, helmets, and education for parents on protection from motor vehicle crash-related injuries.

In addition, the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) has an upcoming pavement improvement project impacting State Route 51 between I-10 and Colter Street, which may affect families traveling to Phoenix Children’s.
