The Valley Toyota Dealers Association Pledges to Donate $250,000 to Phoenix Children's Hospital

The Valley Toyota Dealers Association (TDA) announced today that they will match up to $250,000 toward the new Emergency Department and Trauma Center at Phoenix Children’s Hospital. As the Phoenix Children's Hospital Foundation nears its goal of raising $40 million to fund the new facility, the TDA plays a major role in raising the last $500,000 needed to achieve that target. Together, the TDA and Phoenix Children’s are asking the community to help raise the remaining funds of $250,000.

Phoenix Children’s Will Soon Open Newly Equipped Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)

On the heels of its top “three-star” rating from the Society of Thoracic Surgeons, a repeat “Best Children’s Hospital” designation, and its ranking among the nation’s top Pediatric Heart Centers from U.S. News & World Report, Phoenix Children’s will open a newly expanded Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) in July 2019. With 48 total inpatient beds, the new CVICU doubles the capacity of the previous 24-bed unit. New CVICU rooms are equipped with state-of-the-art technology like surgical lighting, lifts for mobilizing adult patients and improved monitoring capabilities.

Phoenix Children’s Hospital and Mesa Pediatrics Professional Association (“Mesa Pediatrics”) are thrilled to announce Mesa Pediatrics and its four locations across the Phoenix East Valley joined Phoenix Children’s Pediatrics. The collaboration brings together providers from two of Arizona’s original pediatric institutions. Mesa Pediatrics was the first pediatric practice established in the East Valley with a board certified pediatrician, and Phoenix Children’s is the first and only standalone children’s hospital in Arizona.
