Phoenix Children’s Opens Arizona’s First-Ever Sports Physical Therapy Clinics Specifically for Kids, Teens and Young Adults
Phoenix Children’s Sports Medicine program is opening sports physical therapy facilities specifically aimed at patients’ ages four to 30. The program will open two clinics in the Valley this fall, in Gilbert and North Phoenix, which will be the first Arizona sports physical therapy clinics designed for pediatric and young adult populations. The facilities will offer everything from return-to-sports readiness care, to cupping and dry needling.

Phoenix Children’s donates more than 1 million servings of cereal to St. Mary’s for the second year running
For the second time in a row, Phoenix Children’s annual cereal drive for St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance yielded more than 1 million servings of food for Arizona’s vulnerable children. Two of the largest non-profit organizations in the state, Phoenix Children’s and St. Mary’s provide meals to children through the summer. For the seventh year, Phoenix Children’s cereal drive is the largest donation event of the year for St. Mary’s and stocks the shelves during the season when children lose access to school-provided meals. Hospital staff gathered at St. Mary’s Food Bank Warehouse on Monday morning to celebrate as the organization delivered its contribution to fighting childhood hunger.

On May 1, Phoenix Children’s will unveil a 407-foot commissioned mural that has transformed a heavily trafficked corridor into a captivating and exciting journey for children and their families. Nearly two years in the making, the art installation, called “Wonder And Wander” brings vibrant colors and imaginative designs to a major hospital hallway through which 70,000 children are transported each year.
