In an effort to increase donations and make a bigger dent in childhood hunger, Phoenix Children’s is inviting the community to participate in the seventh-annual employee cereal drive. The event, which yielded 1.3 million servings last year, reflects a partnership between Phoenix Children’s and St. Mary’s Food Bank to stock up on breakfast options for Arizona’s at-risk children and families.

Phoenix Children’s Opens Arizona’s First-Ever Sports Physical Therapy Clinics Specifically for Kids, Teens and Young Adults

Phoenix Children’s Sports Medicine program is opening sports physical therapy facilities specifically aimed at patients’ ages four to 30. The program will open two clinics in the Valley this fall, in Gilbert and North Phoenix, which will be the first Arizona sports physical therapy clinics designed for pediatric and young adult populations. The facilities will offer everything from return-to-sports readiness care, to cupping and dry needling.

Phoenix Children’s Emergency Department — Avondale Campus Opens Today

The new site is designed to accommodate up to 50,000 visits each year. The 35,000 square-foot space will provide 24/7 emergency care, 40 treatment rooms, 24/7 onsite laboratory services and around-the-clock imaging including ultrasound, computerized tomography, fluoroscopy and digital radiography.
