The event, which yielded 1.3 million servings last year, reflects a partnership between Phoenix Children’s and St. Mary’s Food Bank to stock up on breakfast options for Arizona’s at-risk children and families.

Phoenix Children’s is pleased to announce Jared Muenzer, MD, MBA, has been promoted to serve the organization as Physician-in-Chief. As Physician-in-Chief, Dr. Muenzer will lead the nationally ranked clinical enterprise at Phoenix Children’s alongside Surgeon-in-Chief, Daniel Ostlie, MD.

As Chief Physician Executive, Muenzer will lead all clinical care, including the health system’s growing behavioral health services, Phoenix Children’s Care Network, clinical research efforts at the Phoenix Children’s Research Institute, medical education and the growing network of Phoenix Children’s Pediatrics practices. He will continue to serve as Chief Operating Officer of Phoenix Children’s Medical Group, a role he has held since 2016.
