The Southwest’s Only Comprehensive Clinic for Children with Epidermolysis Bullosa
Epidermolysis bullosa (EB) is a genetic skin condition that can cause your child’s skin to blister very easily. EB has many types and subtypes which can be difficult to cope with for children and families. Finding specialists experienced with treating EB can also be challenging.
Phoenix Children’s is home to the only comprehensive epidermolysis bullosa clinic in the southwest. We provide care for those with EB regardless of age, ranging from baby, teen to young adult. Our EB clinic offers a full range of services and a family-centered approach. No matter what type of EB you or your child has, we can help.
We’re committed to improving care for EB and finding new and better ways to diagnose, treat and manage this challenging group of skin conditions. Our team is actively involved in clinical research and taking part in developing clinical practice guidelines. We’re hopeful that, with promising new treatments and ongoing clinical trials, we can greatly improve quality of life for children and adults who live with one of these complex skin conditions.
Our Clinic Occurs Once per Month
We also have an EB clinic specifically for adults that occurs four times total per year. We're available to help coordinate the care you need to best help you or your child.
