The College Intensive Volunteer (CIV) program is a semester-based accelerated program for college students interested in gaining hands-on experience in a healthcare environment. This opportunity is designed to introduce college students to the medical field while providing valuable service to patients and their families. 

The program will run for 12 weeks during the spring and fall semesters and 8 weeks in the summer. Dependent on the session you are applying for, applications are open for a limited time:

  • Spring - Applications open November; closes early December
  • Summer - Applications open March; closes early April
  • Fall - Applications open June; closes early July

 

Animal-Assisted Therapy (AAT) is always looking for volunteers with or without a pet. Every AAT team is comprised of three members - the animal, their handler and another volunteer that is a vital part of the team. Learn more on the Animal-Assisted Therapy page.
