Questions You May Have

We accept many health plans through health insurance and provider networks. However, each health plan is different. We want to make sure you have the coverage you need before you receive care. Please check with your health insurance company directly for any questions about what they cover at Phoenix Children’s or Phoenix Children’s Medical Group.

Phoenix Children’s has a centralized medical record department with access to all our locations, including inpatient, outpatient, urgent cares and Phoenix Children’s Pediatrics clinics. Medical records can be requested through this department. Some information is available in the Patient Portal as well.

You can schedule or request an appointment for your child via our Appointment Scheduling page — you will be prompted to enter your child's information and will be able to select the type of appointment you need. If you would like to speak to someone regarding an appointment, call 602-933-5437 (KIDS).
Please note: If your child needs immediate care, go directly to your local urgent care center or emergency department. If your child is experiencing a life-threatening emergency, call 911 immediately.

Our Visitor Policy provides important information regarding visiting patients, including visiting hours.

Yes, our Wayfinding app is available on the App Store and Google Play. It can help you navigate to Phoenix Children's Hospital - Thomas Campus and find the closest parking garage to your appointment. The app can also provide step-by-step directions to anywhere on campus, including elevators, restrooms and the location of your appointment.

Our Patient Portal provides users with access to a child's health information from Phoenix Children's, which can include managing appointments, messaging providers, Phoenix Children's medical history, discharge instructions, summaries of doctor visits, lab results, and more.

For the hours of operation and estimated wait times for our Urgent Care locations and Emergency Departments, please visit our Wait Times page.

These are estimates based on current volumes and can vary. Please do not let wait times prevent you from seeking medical treatment if your child needs urgent or emergency care.

Please note: If your child is experiencing a life-threatening emergency, call 911 immediately.

It’s important that your child receives the right care when they are sick or injured. At Phoenix Children’s, our facilities are set up specifically for the needs of children and your child is being seen by physicians, nurses and staff with specialized training in care for children.

Please note: If your child is experiencing a life-threatening emergency, call 911 immediately.

We consider you and your child essential members of the healthcare team and want you to feel comfortable about your upcoming visit. Planning Your Visit includes resources to help you best prepare.
