Celiac Disease Clinic

Our Celiac Disease Clinic cares for children with celiac disease, an autoimmune condition in which patients must strictly adhere to a gluten-free diet.

Phoenix Children’s is the only hospital in Arizona to offer a dedicated celiac disease clinic for children and teens. Our pediatric gastroenterologist and registered pediatric dietitian both have celiac disease and are passionate about helping kids adapt to a gluten-free lifestyle and live life to the fullest. They see about 450 children with celiac disease every year.

Nationally Recognized Care

Phoenix Children’s is consistently recognized as a “Best Children’s Hospital” by U.S. News & World Report. For the twelfth consecutive year, U.S. News & World Report ranked Phoenix Children’s among the nation’s “Best Children’s Hospitals.” The health system also earned recognition as the top children’s hospital in Arizona for the second consecutive year. Only 35 states and Washington, D.C., are home to hospitals with a top state distinction, per U.S. News.
