About Andrew I. Wilson, MD
Andrew I. Wilson, MD, is an emergency medicine physician at Phoenix Children's. Dr. Wilson diagnoses, evaluates and treats a wide range of conditions that affect children of all ages. He has specialized training in medical procedures and sedation. In addition, Dr. Wilson serves on Phoenix Children's fellowship program evaluation committee and the emergency preparedness steering committee.
After earning his bachelor's degree cum laude from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington, Dr. Wilson graduated with his medical degree from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine in Chicago. He completed his pediatrics residency training at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, where he served as chief resident. Dr. Wilson finished his medical training with a fellowship in pediatric emergency medicine at Phoenix Children's.
Dr. Wilson is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the organization's Section on Emergency Medicine. Dr. Wilson has presented at Phoenix Children's Research Symposium, the Pediatric Academic Societies Annual Meeting and the Injury Free Coalition for Kids Virtual Conference.
Outside of work, Dr. Wilson enjoys golfing, basketball, grilling, baking, traveling and spending time with his family.
