About Ariel R. Hofman, MD
Ariel R. Hofman, MD, is a pediatric hospitalist at Phoenix Children's. Dr. Hofman has specialized training to provide medical care and help patients admitted to the hospital make decisions regarding their care. In addition, she cares for newborns and provides new mothers with breastfeeding support.
Dr. Hofman enjoys the supportive community that engages patients and colleagues at Phoenix Children's. She appreciates the collaboration among specialties, which unites caregivers and enables them to provide patients with the highest level of care.
After earning her undergraduate degree magna cum laude and her medical degree from Saint Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri, Dr. Hofman completed her pediatric residency training at Phoenix Children's. Dr. Hofman is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics section on hospital medicine.
Dr. Hofman believes patients and their families should be treated with respect and understanding. She understands that a hospital stay can be a stressful and difficult experience. Her goal is to provide compassionate care that serves the best interests of her patients and their families. Dr. Hofman was inspired to become a doctor by her mother. Growing up, Dr. Hofman watched her mother manage her medical condition and knew she wanted to pursue a career in medicine.
In her free time, Dr. Hofman enjoys hiking, traveling, reading, watching sports, doing jigsaw puzzles and spending time with family and friends.
