About Chelsea C. Boor, PNP
Chelsea Boor, PNP-PC, is a pediatric nurse practitioner in the department of general surgery at Phoenix Children's. Chelsea treats children with surgical conditions that range from appendicitis and hernias to complex congenital anomalies. She has experience and specialized training in managing acute and medically complex patients who require multidisciplinary care, including wound therapy and Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS).
Chelsea graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Bryan College of Health Sciences in Lincoln, Nebraska. She earned a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska.
Chelsea is certified as a pediatric nurse practitioner by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board and she is a member of the American Pediatric Surgical Nurses Association. In addition to providing healthcare services as an advanced practice provider in general surgery and primary care, Chelsea also has nursing experience in medical-surgical, oncology and neonatal intensive care settings.
In her free time, Chelsea enjoys spending time with family, crafting, quilting, baking, cooking, traveling and attending live music events.
