My child (15, almost 16) was understandably nervous going into her appointment, but the entire care teamn doctor, nurse, and assistants made a huge difference. From the start they made sure to include her directly in every conversation about her care and treatment plan instead of speaking ove her or only addressing me as the parent. Thal level of respect really helped build her confidence and ease her anxiety. Because the area of concern is difficult for her to reach, I will be helping with most of the cleaning and dressing. Still, they took the time to guide her on how to care for it as independently as possible, which I| really appreciated. They were patient, respectful, and thoughtful in how they communicated, and it truly helped put her mind at ease We left feeling informed, supported, and cared for. I'm very grateful for the way they treated my child with dignity and compassion.
