About Jared A. Kusma, MD

As a pediatric hospitalist, Jared Kusma, MD, treats and coordinates the care of children at Phoenix Children's.

Dr. Kusma earned his medical degree at the University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences in Toledo, Ohio, and a master's in clinical research at the University of Arizona in Phoenix. After an internship at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, Dr. Kusma completed a pediatric residency and hospitalist fellowship at Phoenix Children's in Phoenix. Dr. Kusma is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

In addition to providing inpatient care, Dr. Kusma contributes to making discoveries and improving lives through clinical research. He participates in numerous research studies and has presented at the Pediatric Academic Society and American Academy of Pediatrics national conferences, among others.

When he's not working, Dr. Kusma enjoys playing golf, going to the park with his dog and spending time with his family.
