Jillian M. Wall, MD

Jillian M. Wall, MD, MPH, is a pediatrician and pediatric hospitalist at Phoenix Children's. Dr. Wall cares for children and adolescents who are admitted to the hospital for a wide range of conditions.

After graduating with her bachelor's degree from the University of California in Davis, California, Dr. Wall earned her medical degree from the University of Nevada School of Medicine in Reno, Nevada. Dr. Wall completed her pediatrics residency training at the University of California San Diego in California, where she also served as chief resident. She finished her medical training with a fellowship in pediatric hospital medicine at the University of Texas at Austin and Dell Children's Hospital in Austin, Texas.

In addition to her medical degree, Dr. Wall earned a master's degree in public health with a concentration in tobacco control from the University of Texas Health Science Center's School of Public Health in Houston. Since joining Phoenix Children's, Dr. Wall has pursued quality improvement projects designed to reduce secondhand smoke exposure in children and improve family centered care. She previously served as the e-cigarette champion for Arizona.

Dr. Wall is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in general pediatrics and pediatric hospital medicine. She is a board member for the Arizona Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is chair of the Child Injury and Fatality Prevention Committee.

Dr. Wall is committed to training the next generation of doctors and serves as the pediatric clerkship director at the Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine, where she is an instructor of pediatrics. She is Phoenix Children's site director for The University of Arizona's College of Medicine Pediatric Clerkship. Dr. Wall also serves as a clinical associate professor for the University of Arizona Department of Child Health and as a clinical associate professor at the Creighton University School of Medicine. She has presented at national meetings of the American Academy of Pediatrics and published peer-reviewed research in the journals Pediatrics, Hospital Pediatrics and the Journal of Hospital Medicine.

In her free time, Dr. Wall enjoys cooking, traveling and spending time with her husband and son.
