About Katie E. Cox, MD

Katie Cox, MD, is a pediatric emergency medicine and urgent care physician with expertise in general pediatrics and treating complex medical conditions.

After graduating with a bachelor's degree in biochemistry from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Dr. Cox earned her medical degree from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in Flint, Michigan. She completed her residency training in pediatrics at Phoenix Children's in Phoenix.

Dr. Cox is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the North American Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition. She has presented her clinical research at meetings of the North American Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition, as well as the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology.

In her free time, Dr. Cox can be found hiking with family or friends. She is an enthusiastic reader and enjoys tending to her cactus garden.
