About Kristi A. Boles, MD
Kristi A. Boles, MD, FAAP, is a pediatric hospitalist at Phoenix Children's. She also serves as medical director of the Spina Bifida Clinic.
Dr. Boles enjoys providing hospital-based care, especially for children with complex healthcare needs. She finds that the supportive relationships within the hospital medicine department makes Phoenix Children's an ideal place to practice.
After earning her medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, Dr. Boles completed a pediatric internship and residency at Phoenix Children's. She holds certifications in both Pediatrics and Pediatric Hospital Medicine through the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Boles practices evidence-based, family-centered medicine that encourages a partnership between families and medical providers. She is committed to providing inclusive, compassionate and respectful care to her patients and their families. Her love of science and children is what led her to first become a physician, and it's what keeps her passionate about providing care 20 years into her career.
Outside of her work at Phoenix Children's, Dr. Boles serves as the medical director of Camp Patrick - a camp for children with spina bifida. She loves spending time with her four children and their seven cats. She also enjoys traveling, baking, gardening and watching old movies.
