Luis A. Perez, MD

Luis A. Perez, MD, FAAP, is a pediatric hospitalist at Phoenix Children's with more than 20 years of experience caring for hospitalized children. Dr. Perez is known for his attentive listening, professional demeanor and commitment to providing the highest-quality care for every patient and family.

Dr. Perez earned his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City. He completed his pediatric residency at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, where he also served as chief resident. He is board-certified in pediatric medicine.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Perez has held leadership roles in hospital medicine while teaching and mentoring medical students and residents at multiple institutions.

When he is not caring for patients, Dr. Perez enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, dining out, and caring for his two dogs and two bearded dragons.
