After earning his medical degree at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, Dr. Smith completed an internship and residency at Arkansas Children's Hospital. In addition, he completed an infectious diseases fellowship with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the University of Tennessee Department of Pediatrics/LeBonheur Children's Medical Center.
Dr. Smith is board certified in pediatric infectious diseases with the American Board of Pediatrics. Phoenix magazine has named him a "Top Doc," and he's been honored as a Teacher of the Year by the Phoenix Children's residency program.
When it comes to caring for his patients, Dr. Smith treats every child the way he would treat his own children, providing the latest in treatments and diagnostic testing.
