About Megan F. Fields, MD
Megan Fields, MD, is a specialist in pediatric critical care medicine at Phoenix Children's, where she serves on the faculty as a pediatric intensivist. Dr. Fields is skilled in the treatment of critically ill children of all ages. She is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.
Dr. Fields was drawn to the team-oriented atmosphere at Phoenix Children's she experienced during her medical training. She believes that Phoenix Children's has helped her to grow as a provider, and she hopes to train future generations of physicians.
After earning her undergraduate degree from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana, Dr. Fields earned her medical degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis. She completed her pediatric residency and fellowship in pediatric critical care medicine at Phoenix Children's in Phoenix, Arizona.
Dr. Fields has a clinical interest in the treatment of pediatric sepsis and the targeted use of antibiotics, as well as quality and safety improvement initiatives.
