About Rebecca L. Koo, PNP-PC
Rebecca Koo, PNP-PC, is a nurse practitioner at Phoenix Children's. Her clinical interests include pediatric primary care, care coordination for high-risk and underserved populations, homeless youth services, trauma-informed care, and emergency and acute pediatric management. Rebecca values working alongside physicians, nurses, social workers, therapists and the entire healthcare team to ensure the best outcomes for every child and family.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, Illinois, Rebecca earned a Master of Science in Nursing from the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Program at the University of Illinois Chicago. She is a certified pediatric nurse practitioner by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Rebecca has extensive experience working in emergency departments at urban pediatric hospitals. In addition to her clinical role, she serves as a provider integration onboarding manager and an advanced practice provider student placement advisor. She has received grant funding from Nurses for a Healthy Arizona and the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute.
Outside of work, Rebecca enjoys spending time with her family, playing tennis and reading books.
