I aim to care for the whole child, not just the illness, while working with the patient’s care team, as well as the family. I allow empathy and evidence-based pediatric medicine to guide my management of each patient, treating each child as I would my own.

About Sami J. Weisberg, MD

Sami Weisberg, MD, is a pediatric hospitalist at Phoenix Children's. Dr Weisberg treats children and adolescents who are admitted to the hospital for a wide range of conditions, including complex or chronic health conditions.

Dr. Weisberg earned her bachelor's degree cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia before graduating with her medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson, Arizona. She completed her pediatric residency training at Rush University Medical Center and Rush Children's Hospital in Chicago, Illinois.

Board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, Dr. Weisberg is also a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the APP Section on Hospital Medicine. She serves on the faculty of the University of Arizona College of Medicine.

Dr. Weisberg enjoys traveling, practicing yoga, reading and spending time outdoors with her family.
