About Stephanie M. Penton, MD

Stephanie M. Penton, MD, is an emergency medicine physician who loves caring for pediatric patients.

Dr. Penton earned her medical degree at the University of Miami School of Medicine. She completed an emergency medicine residency at Wayne State University-Detroit Medical Center. Dr. Penton is certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine. She is certified in advanced cardiac life support, basic life support and pediatric advanced life support. In addition, she is certified in advanced trauma life support.

Dr. Penton believes in caring for patients the way she would want her family to be treated. She knows the importance of sitting and listening to patients and families whenever possible, even in a busy emergency setting.

When she's not working, Dr. Penton enjoys traveling, skiing, scuba diving and watercolor painting. She also enjoys spending time with her family and playing board games.
