Why PCH PEM: PCH PEM has exposure to every type of patient from the most complex to the reassurance and send home, but the number one reason I knew I wanted to stay here for fellowship was how much the program values teamwork and making a family in the workplace.

Why PCH PEM: I had never been to Phoenix prior to matching at PCH but fell in love with the program during my interview. Even through a screen, I could sense how genuine both the faculty and fellows were and how much they loved the program. I wanted to be at a high volume, level 1 trauma center to best prepare myself for my future career while being in a supportive environment and PCH is the perfect fit.

Why PCH PEM: I chose PCH for fellowship as it is a level 1 trauma center and a free-standing children’s hospital with a large volume of high acuity patients. The faculty is very easy to get along with and provide a supportive learning environment.
