Jennifer A. Heim, MD, is a pediatric neurologist specializing in movement disorders at Phoenix Children’s. Dr. Heim attended medical school at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. She completed her residency in child neurology at Barrow Neurological Institute at Phoenix Children’s. She was the “inaugural” fellow in the pediatric movement disorder fellowship program at Phoenix Children’s and has helped to develop and grow the program into what it is today. Dr. Heim has participated in cerebral palsy research through working and collaborating with Dr. Michael Kruer and his research team, working to understand how genetics impacts cerebral palsy and other movement disorders. She has spoken and presented at international pediatric movement disorder conferences. When she is not working, she enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, (trying) to make music, and enjoying the great outdoors in Arizona.
