Undergraduate: Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Studies, University of Texas at Dallas, Richardson, Texas
Medical school: UNTHSC - Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, Fort Worth, Texas
Residency: Phoenix Children’s, Phoenix, AZ
Why PCH PEM: I first fell in love with the world of PEM rotating through our department as a resident. We have a large catchment area allowing us to learn from various pathologies and interesting cases, so there is never a dull day. In addition, I love how the ED staff treats their fellows like colleagues and have a collaborative approach to patient care. The program leadership is also very supportive of your career and personal goals. Most importantly, I loved watching the camaraderie between the fellows and am glad I get to be a part of it now!

Giles Knowles, DO

Why PCH PEM: The PCH staff and fellows are a family here and take such good care of us. The PCH ED also sees the sickest kids in a huge catchment area and prepares you to work in any setting, both procedurally and medically.
