The Phoenix Children’s Rheumatology Fellowship Program, the only one of its kind in Arizona, is dedicated to serving underrepresented and underserved communities in the Southwest. Our graduates will provide valuable care to children from a variety of ethnicities and social backgrounds, making a lasting impact on these communities.

Our program’s leadership and faculty, who are experts in pediatric rheumatic diseases, provide thorough training to our fellows. They learn to develop personalized treatment plans for each patient, ensuring the best possible care. Our fellowship initiative merges elements of clinical studies, quality improvement and patient safety training that prepares fellows to play a significant role in the progression of pediatric rheumatology through groundbreaking research.

We provide a multifaceted experience in both inpatient consultation and outpatient clinic environments, introducing fellows to a broad spectrum of patients with intricate rheumatic conditions. This method underscores the cultivation of competencies vital for a patient-focused approach to care. Graduates of our program will be prepared with the understanding, abilities and proficiencies required to deliver superior care to children with rheumatic conditions. They will also be ready to contribute to the continuous progression of the field through pioneering research.

The Phoenix Children’s Hospital Pediatric Rheumatology Fellowship Program will be accepting applications for AY 2025/2026.
