January 05, 2021 - PHOENIX (January 5, 2021) — Phoenix Children’s Medical Group (PCMG) announced today that it has added six new physicians to its nationally ranked Nephrology Division. Gina-Marie Barletta, MD; Kelly Benedict, MD; Stephanie Hsieh, MD; Mark Joseph, MD; Karen Papez, MD; and Scott Williams, MD, have joined PCMG, creating the largest team of pediatric nephrologists in Arizona.
October 02, 2020 - Phoenix Children’s Medical Group is pleased to welcome nine new providers to its nationally ranked Neonatology program. These providers will serve Phoenix’s growing East Valley and expand the enterprise’s top-ranked neonatology services across Phoenix. Ranked among the top 20 neonatology programs in the United States, Phoenix Children’s NICU and neonatology services support dozens of conditions that impact newborns.
For the Fourth Time, Phoenix Children’s Ranked in all 10 Specialties by U.S. News & World Report’s Best Children’s Hospitals
June 16, 2020 - For the fourth time, Phoenix Children’s Hospital earned national rankings by U.S. News & World Report’s Best Children’s Hospitals in 10 out of 10 specialties. The health system is the only children’s hospital in Arizona ever to have been recognized by U.S. News & World Report and one of only 24 children’s hospitals in the United States to rank in all 10 surveyed specialties for 2020-2021.

May 11, 2020 - As Arizonans continue to abide by COVID 19 social distancing restrictions, drowning risk for Arizona’s children is expected to rise. Toddlers in Arizona are already drowning at double the national rate. Economic hardship is also increasing caregiver stress, childcare options are severely limited, and families are confined to apartments and single-family homes, where drowning risk is highest.
