Need something to eat? At Phoenix Children’s, we have a variety of food options – ranging from on-site cafeterias to in-room deliveries, plus local dining options.
Hospital Cafeterias
We have a cafeteria location at both our Phoenix Children’s Hospital – Thomas Campus and Phoenix Children’s Hospital – Arrowhead Campus.
Our head chef stirs up delicious new menu options every day, plus classic family favorites. You’ll find made-to-order grill or deli foods and other selections, pizza and entrée stations, burgers, pasta, hand-tossed salads, and more. We serve vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free meals. If you have special requests, dietary needs or restrictions, our cafeteria managers are happy to help.

To order food online:
Download the Everyday app by Sodexo from your mobile device’s app store. You can custom order cafeteria food in advance to eat in the cafeteria or take to go. You can only place orders during cafeteria hours.
The cafeteria is open:
- 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
- 11:15 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. (Thomas Campus only)
At Your Request™ Patient Room Service is available from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Our cafeterias are on the first floor of the Thomas Campus and Arrowhead Campus hospitals.
At the Thomas Campus, if you’re coming from the East Building, follow the signs to the public (north) connector. The hallway leads directly to the cafeteria.

View daily menus posted at the cafeteria entrance and at various food stations. You have the option to eat inside or enjoy outdoor seating. Many menu items are pre-packaged to-go for health and safety. Ask us about our current dining guidelines.

The cafeteria accepts major credit or debit cards, and cash. We don’t accept personal checks, but we have an ATM. Families can purchase SoGo gift cards for the cafeteria, our coffee shop or room service orders.
Touchless payment options are available at cafeteria cash registers.
Room Service
With At Your Request™ Patient Room Service, we’ll deliver food directly to a patient’s room. Place an order any time from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Call 602-933-3663 (602-933-FOOD). If you’re using a hospital phone at our Thomas Campus, dial 3-3663 (FOOD).
Our menu includes pizza, chicken nuggets and other kid-pleasing food options. Your child’s doctor and care team will update your child’s menu as needed. Our Food Service team also ensures that orders meet special dietary restrictions or guidelines.
Parents and guests can buy Room Service meals for $6.50 each. We accept credit cards, debit cards or a prepaid SoGo gift card. For your convenience, we deliver the tray straight to your child’s room. Food arrives on a closed, sanitized cart. Please allow approximately 45 minutes for preparation and delivery.
Coffee Shops and Carts
Follow the aroma of fresh-brewed coffee to our coffee shops and coffee carts. Ask us when a free coffee cart and other amenities may come by your room or lounge.
Our Thomas Campus has several coffee options:
The Coffee Shop (Main Building)
The Coffee Shop serves Starbucks coffee, tea, soda, fruit drinks, and other hot and cold beverages. This location also sells breakfast, dinner or snack options. You’ll find yogurt, fruit cups, baked goods, sandwiches, salads and more.
Coffee Shop hours:
Mon. – Fri.: 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Sat. – Sun.: 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The Coffee Cart (Ambulatory Building)
We also have Starbucks coffee, hot and cold beverages, pastries and snacks, including lighter menu choices, in our Ambulatory Building. You can order convenient to-go food options.
The Coffee Cart is open:
Mon. – Fri.: 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Restaurants Nearby
You don’t have to travel far for a variety of food and dining options in Phoenix or Glendale. A restaurant serves food at almost any hour for late nights or early mornings. Choices range from grills and delis to family-style buffets and bistros – and fast food to formal dining.

Nutrition Services
We promote healthy nutrition for all. Our nutrition experts provide nutrition counseling, education and support for children and families. Ask our dietitians about services and support.
Our Clinical Nutrition program offers medical nutrition therapy for patients. Your child may work with our registered dietitians and dietetic technicians, who partner with your care team.
Clinical Nutrition services include:
- Nutrition assessment and reassessment
- Nutrition intake analysis
- Enteral nutrition (by feeding tube into digestive tract)
- Parenteral nutrition (by intravenous (IV) tube into the bloodstream)
