Patient Rooms at Phoenix Children’s

Your child’s hospital room has a private bathroom, phone and TV. Most rooms also have a sleeper chair. During an extended stay, two adult family members or caregivers can be in your child’s room. However, only one caregiver can stay in the room overnight.

Ronald McDonald Housing

Ronald McDonald houses offer lodging and support for qualifying families who live at least 30 miles from the hospital. We have three housing locations – with one option on campus. To check housing availability or reserve a room, call Social Work Services at 602-933-0750.

Ronald McDonald options include:

  • Cambridge House – Located on the Phoenix Children’s Hospital – Thomas Campus, just off Cambridge Avenue (east side of campus). The building has 18 rooms.
  • Roanoke House – Located in Central Phoenix, about two miles away from the Phoenix Children’s Hospital – Thomas Campus. This location is the largest of the three Ronald McDonald House locations in the Valley. It has three private rooms and seven apartments.
  • Dobson House – Located in Mesa, Arizona, about 15 miles away from the Phoenix Children’s Hospital – Thomas Campus. We may refer families to this location if the other locations are full.
