Wheelchairs and Wagons

Phoenix Children’s provides wheelchairs for patients and families to use while in the hospital. Child-friendly wagons are also available for small children.

Call Guest Services at 602-933-1749 if you, your child, family or visitors need hospital transportation.

Ways to Get Around Phoenix and Glendale

You have options when it comes to getting around Glendale, Phoenix and the surrounding areas.

Transportation options include:

  • Airport transportation – From the Phoenix Children’s Hospital – Thomas Campus, you can take Metro Light Rail to the 44th Street/Washington Street station. Then, board the driverless Phoenix Sky train to the airport. 
  • Dial-a-Ride for people with disabilities – You can call 602-253-4000 to see if you’re eligible for paratransit rides. This service is available daily from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. Arizona Time (MST, no daylight savings).
  • Rental cars – The Rental Car Center at the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport gives you access to rental car companies. Most have other locations around Phoenix.
