Psychology Doctoral Internship

Phoenix Children's psychologists provide assessment, intervention, consultation and treatment to infants, children, adolescents and families. 

Our Psychology Internship Program is offered by the Psychology Department, which trains medical residents, psychiatry residents, psychology practicum students, psychology interns and residents. 

Our Doctoral Internship Program offers training in therapy and assessment with medical inpatients, outpatients with medical and/or psychological concerns, as well as their families. We are a member of APPIC and the program is accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA).

Pediatric Psychology Postdoctoral Residency Program

Our Psychology Department in the Barrow Neurological Institute at Phoenix Children's is proud to offer one full time position in its Pediatric Psychology Postdoctoral Residency Program. The primary goal of the Program is to train residents in advanced competencies needed to be a skilled psychologist working with children, adolescents, emerging adults and families in a medical setting. The resident provides empirically-supported assessment, intervention and consultation for these populations. The Program is affiliated with the Arizona Psychology Training Consortium (AZPTC) and is a member of the Association of Psychology Postdoctoral and Internship Centers (APPIC).
