Psychology Doctoral Internship
Phoenix Children's psychologists provide assessment, intervention, consultation and treatment to infants, children, adolescents and families.
Our Psychology Internship Program, offered by the Division of Psychology, is embedded in the delivery of comprehensive psychological and behavioral health services for medically and developmentally diverse children, adolescents, and their families. Our training program support trainees at every stage of the journey to becoming a psychologist – from pre-doctoral practicum placements through postdoctoral fellowship. Division psychologists also play a meaningful role in the training of mental health therapy trainees as well as medical residents and fellows, including psychiatry trainees.
Our program is a member of APPIC and the program is accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA).
