Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) Clinic

We provide comprehensive evaluation for ADHD for children under the age of 7, as well as for older children who have co-occurring complex medical needs or genetic conditions. We collaborate across medical specialties to diagnose and treat ADHD and related conditions. Our clinical care also includes a wide range of family-centered services and support.

ADHD Evaluation

Your child’s provider will talk about whether your child may benefit from additional testing or therapies for ADHD, or for other conditions and behavioral or emotional disorders, such as:

  • Anxiety
  • Disruptive behavior
  • Executive functioning disorders
  • Learning disorders
  • Mood disorders
  • Speech and language disorders

ADHD Treatment

We offer individualized consultation and treatment options for children up to age 18 with an already-established diagnosis of ADHD, which can include medication management and family education about ADHD.

Our providers will collaborate with your child’s care team to create a customized treatment plan. We work closely with you and your child to watch and manage progress. Our providers may change or adjust ADHD medication and other therapies, as needed, to see which approaches are most effective for your child.

Support and Resources

We know that ADHD can make day-to-day life stressful for kids and families. Your care team can refer you to additional services at Phoenix Children’s.

Our team can also provide information about community resources, including counseling for families, social services, support groups and educational resources. Ask your care team if you have questions or concerns or visit our Patient Forms & Resources section on the website.
