Adult inpatient services are provided at Banner University Medical Center (BUMC).
If possible, we recommend that adult patients use the Emergency Department at Banner University Medical Center for any CF-related problem requiring emergency care. This is the only hospital where our physician team will follow adult CF patients on an inpatient basis. Adult patients are not treated in the emergency department or inpatient at Phoenix Children’s Hospital. Our on-call physician is available to speak to the emergency department (by calling the main clinic number during business hours and the on-call number after hours) and we encourage the emergency department doctor to discuss the plan of care with your CF doctor. Our outpatient CF team coordinates closely with the inpatient care team at Banner University Medical Center to provide outstanding care to our Adult CF patients during hospital admissions.
