Phoenix Children's Hospital Medicine Fellowship program is the only such program in Arizona. Our program's first fellow started in July 2014, received initial ACGME accreditation in April 2020, and currently accepts 3 fellows per year. Interested applicants can apply through ERAS.

Our Fellowship program is designed to encompass all the ACGME curriculum requirements while also allowing ample individualized time to meet fellows' specific fellowship and career goals.  Our fellows spend time at Phoenix Children's Hospital as well as a community hospital site, Valleywise Health Care Center

Phoenix Children's Hospital Medicine (PCHM) division is comprised of approximately 50 hospitalists, including ten fellowship trained hospitalists.  PCHM manages the majority of patients admitted to PCH with a strong subspecialty co-management model creating a very diverse clinical experience for our fellows.  Many of our hospitalists serve as leaders within our institution for patient safety, quality improvement and medical education providing many mentored opportunities for our fellows.
