Building Healthier Communities
Our asthma program hits the road all year long, thanks to the Breathmobile! This mobile asthma unit provides testing, treatment and support for children with asthma in Phoenix’s underserved inner city, where asthma rates are highest. We’re having an impact in these communities: Reports indicate a 70% drop in emergency room visits due to asthma and a 73% drop in asthma-related hospital stays.
