Trauma Morbidity and Mortality
This M&M conference reviews opportunities for care improvement based on real-life cases and areas where care was less than optimal and resulted in complications deaths that might have been prevented. Practice gap areas in trauma medicine that we have identified include underdiagnosing, misdiagnosing, applying incorrect treatments, and other errors and inefficiencies that occur while providing traumatic care and that we seek to minimize or eradicate.
